Hudson Valley Stands Up (HVSU) is a student-run organization that was co-founded by Sabrina Goldfischer and Angela McDevitt in the wake of the 2018 Parkland and Santa Fe school shootings. HVSU is comprised of middle and high school students from around the Hudson Valley. We meet monthly to discuss and take action on gun violence prevention and awareness. We organize and attend events oriented toward implementing and improving common sense gun laws, state and nationwide.
